UI/UX + Interaction Design

My Process

I have been building websites for the last five years. When I approach any project, I think about how visuals, user journey, and content all diverge to create the best and most enticing website experience possible.

Mental Mapping

Before doing anything else I think in detail about the client and their specific needs for the website. Some websites are to push a product, some websites are to create brand awareness. What's the goal and how can I execute.

Wireframe Sketch

Because I use web builders that can create a real-time prototypes faster than I can design digital wireframes out, I will do a quick sketch to get an overall feel of the visual flow of each page on the website.

Begin Build

From there I start to build! I can watch the build and interact with the functioning website in real-time, using the site itself as the prototype. I send the client as staging link and allow them to look at various steps along the way to see if they like the direction things are going.

So, like, imagine every other twenty-something who works in an office with a ping pong table only hopefully better?

I work to help brands expand into something greater than where they are. Starting with their needs and then working towards reaching their goals, I oversee the entire process from start to finish. From the initial mood board to crafting the brand to the website centered around the entire persona, I ensure the message and look are consistent and like none other.

Wireframing, prototyping, testing, optimizing. I do it all ensure brands are receiving websites that not only convert but are a pleasure to use.

Did I mention that I'm also a photographer? Yeah, I literally do it all.

Photography was the first medium I got into as a youth that helped curate my particular design style. What compositions are pleasing? Where does a viewer tend to look? What do they like to see? Photography and visuals play a huge role in how a user interacts with a website and how an audience perceives your brand.
